08. Courses, Training and Certification Programmes

Bleu Living Alliance may promote, administer, coordinate or support educational and certification programmes offered independently or in collaboration with external institutions, accreditation bodies and certification boards.

Participants are responsible for confirming whether a programme or qualification meets the professional, regulatory or licensing requirements applicable in their own country or profession.

Bleu Living Alliance may amend programme content, instructors, schedules, delivery formats or venues where reasonably necessary.

10. Photography and Recording at Events

Photography, video recording and audio recording may take place during Bleu Living Alliance events.

Images and recordings may be used for event documentation, education, publicity, social media and promotional purposes.

Where reasonably practicable, attendees who do not wish to be featured should notify the event team before or during the event. This does not guarantee exclusion from wide-angle or crowd photographs.

14. Third-Party Organisations and Services

We may work with or provide information about external certification boards, colleges, educators, speakers, healthcare providers, sponsors, event venues and other partners.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, these organisations operate independently from Bleu Living Alliance.

We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, professional services, statements, products or policies of an independent third party.

Any agreement entered into directly with a third party is between you and that third party and may be subject to separate terms and conditions.

Our website may contain links to external websites or platforms.

These links are provided for convenience and do not necessarily represent our endorsement of all content, products or services available through those websites.

We do not control external websites and are not responsible for their availability, security, content or privacy practices.

  • Does not contain defamatory, discriminatory or misleading material.

We may moderate, edit, decline or remove submitted content where reasonably necessary.

  • Serious or repeated misconduct.
  • Harassment or harmful behaviour.
  • A breach of these Terms or applicable law.
  • Conduct that creates a material safety, legal or reputational risk.

Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to respond.

Immediate action may be taken where reasonably necessary to protect individuals, the Alliance or the public.

Termination does not automatically create a right to a refund.

20. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and its content are provided on an “as available” basis.

We do not guarantee that:

  • The website will always be available or free from errors.
  • Website content will always be complete or current.
  • Digital services will be free from viruses or security vulnerabilities.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

21. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bleu Living Alliance will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from the use of our website, membership services, programmes or events.

This may include loss of profits, business opportunities, reputation, data or anticipated savings.

Where our liability cannot be excluded, our total liability arising from a specific paid service will, to the extent permitted by law, be limited to the amount paid by you for that service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

22. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to compensate Bleu Living Alliance for reasonable losses, claims and expenses resulting directly from:

Where practicable, we may offer an alternative date, venue, delivery method, credit or other reasonable arrangement.

24. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our services, operations or legal obligations.

The updated version will be published on this website with a revised “Last Updated” date.

Material changes affecting an active paid membership, programme or registration may also be communicated directly where appropriate.

Continued use of the website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

25. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be modified or removed only to the extent necessary.

The remaining provisions will continue to apply.

26. No Waiver

A failure or delay by Bleu Living Alliance in exercising a right under these Terms does not waive that right.

27. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any specific terms communicated for a membership, programme, event or service, form the agreement between you and Bleu Living Alliance concerning that service.

Where specific programme, event or membership terms conflict with these general Terms, the specific terms will apply to that matter.

28. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore.

Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of our services will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore, unless the parties agree to resolve the matter through negotiation, mediation or another dispute-resolution process.
