PROGRAMME OVERVIEW
DABLM stands for Diplomate of the American Board of Longevity Medicine. It is the professional designation awarded to eligible physicians who successfully fulfil the American Board of Longevity Medicine’s certification requirements. The programme is designed for doctors who wish to develop deeper competency in the scientific and clinical application of longevity medicine.
The DABLM & DABLM-A programme delivers comprehensive, evidence-based education in longevity medicine through 36 structured modules and approximately 110 hours of formal education. Assessment includes a 150-question multiple-choice examination, with no oral examination required.
AMERICAN BOARD OF LONGEVITY MEDICINE
The key difference is clinical experience.
For physicians who have completed the required education and written examination but are still accumulating the clinical experience in Longevity Medicine required for full Diplomate status. DABLM-A recognises physicians who are building their clinical experience and may progress to full DABLM status once all Board eligibility requirements are satisfied.

The programme is designed for medical doctors, dentists and scientists seeking advanced education and certification in longevity medicine.
DABLM-A is the Associate Diplomate pathway for physicians who have completed the ABLM educational curriculum and written examination but have not yet accumulated all of the clinical experience required for full Diplomate status. DABLM is the full Diplomate credential for physicians who satisfy the complete Board eligibility requirements. DABLM-A physicians may apply to convert to DABLM once those requirements are met.
The DABLM credential is awarded through the American Board of Longevity Medicine to eligible candidates who successfully satisfy its certification requirements. Bleu Living Alliance supports and administers regional education and certification pathways as an affiliate and authorised certification centre.
No. Formal DABLM designation requires candidates to satisfy the American Board’s full eligibility, educational, examination and clinical experience requirements. A physician who has completed the education and examination but is still building the required clinical experience may qualify for DABLM-A, subject to the prevailing ABLM criteria.
International applicants may be considered, subject to the eligibility requirements of the respective certification programme and the applicant’s professional qualifications.
